In the 94th minute, unbridled joy broke out for Chelsea and interim manager Calum McFarlane as Enzo Fernández bundled in a injury-time equaliser. On paper, Guardiola versus McFarlane could be billed as the Premier League's most pronounced managerial mismatch in class, making the memory of Fernández's crucial intervention one to cherish the 40-year-old throughout his career.

A Glaring Contrast in Experience

On the City bench was the most decorated manager of his time, a man with an unparalleled CV for football's giants Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City, taking charge of his 1,012th match.
