In a unexpected crossover event that breaks conventional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Uncovered
According to the formal release, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of banned ceremonies and fearsome changes resonate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret group.
The adventure centers on "bizarre tests and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Bonus Features
Players who accomplish the quest will acquire an exclusive katana alongside several artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This patch also brings the game's third free story content, titled "The Enigma."
